Game

From Wikipedia

Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based in the Star Wars universe. Developed by BioWare Austin and a supplemental team at BioWare Edmonton, the game was first announced on October 21, 2008, at an invitation-only press event.[4] The video game was released for the Microsoft Windows platform on December 20, 2011 in North America and part of Europe. Early access to the game began one week before release, on December 13, 2011, for those who had pre-ordered the game online; access opened in "waves" based on pre-order date.

Guilds

The Ordo Imperialis took a very active role in the launch of SW:TOR and has existed since the guild and grouping features became available. There are both Empire and Republic guilds on the server Begeren Colony to best facilitate our members and their interests. We regularly hold events for both sides and encourage cross participation where possible. With the new launch of the expansion Shadow of Revan the level cap has increased and we are noticing an increase in popularity of the game and guild activity once more.

Additional Information

Recruiting

It is the duty of all to seek out new members. Recruitment is tracked and rewarded via in game items, currency and more, so the guilds are always actively recruiting new and old members. We support our members and wish only to help them compete and complete their goals. We're also always looking for group leaders and officers to help guide our members and friends through an experience we can all enjoy and participate in.

Events

Communication program use and forum registration is heavily encouraged, this will allow our members to better communicate, be involved, document and participate in scheduled events as a whole and allow for a central area where we may ask questions, provide training and more.

Ranks

Ranks stand as titles of skill, ability and devotion. Each rank has specific accommodation tied to it within the group, community, asset access like the bank and guild features and responsibility but do not represent who is 'higher' than whom. On average, members must spend at least two weeks under each rank. Community ranks are respected depending on various levels of ability and activity and each rank holds a prerequisite that's heavily encouraged.
